Audio branding—also known as sonic—identity uses sound to create a distinct, memorable brand presence, strengthening recognition and emotional connection.
I’ve designed bespoke sonic identities for brands like ConocoPhillips, Arla and UOB Bank, shaping their sound across commercials, apps, and experiences.
Together with Denmark's audio agency, Sonic Minds, I composed the audio identity for ConocoPhillips. They wanted a longer audio logo than usually requested. Their goal was to effectively convey their values in content, allowing for a more deliberate communication. Although the audio logo would make occasional appearances in outward-facing branding materials, the majority of the audio brand’s use was slated for internal purposes, granting us greater flexibility in terms of length than is typically allowed.
We also crafted a selection of brand tracks for ConocoPhillips, that could communicate different sides of their personality in different ways.

In collaboration with Denmark’s audio agency, Sonic Minds, I composed the sonic logo for Arla. The goal was to modernize their existing sound with a more grounded and human expression, while creating something warm, optimistic, and unmistakably Nordic.
Arla wanted a sound that reflected their farmer-owned roots and natural products—down to earth, yet confident. The brief emphasized simplicity, relatability, and subtle musical optimism. The final mnemonic features layered vocal humming in two octaves to evoke warmth, community, and human imperfection. A deep upright bass note anchors the logo with quiet confidence, and a soft swoosh introduces a sense of motion and ease.
The result is a clean, contemporary sound that aligns with Arla’s values of authenticity, care, and joyful simplicity—designed to stand out subtly across a wide range of media.

In collaboration with Singapore’s audio agency, FVSE, I composed the sonic identity for UOB Bank. This project included a 4-second audio logo alongside a long-form composition, offering a more expansive musical expression of the brand’s identity.
UOB Bank sought a sound that embodies credibility, progressiveness, and approachability while maintaining an air of elegance and prestige. Their Asian heritage was woven subtly into the composition—not through overt instrumentation, but through the fluidity of the melody and a delicate, refined touch.
The result was a contemporary classical style featuring ascending notes to reflect the bank’s forward-looking vision.
By capturing these nuances, we crafted an audio identity that aligns seamlessly with UOB Bank’s values and enhances their brand presence across various touchpoints.
